WOODSTOCK, NOT WOOFSTOCK

CH  Albridens The Show Must Go On

As we finishing pack for tomorrow’s flight to California for this week’s Woofstock in San Francisco Bay area, we find we still owe you results from the Fox River Valley Kennel Club’s two shows in Woodstock IL. (who knew there were two?)

Saturday’s final saw the Dr Judith Newton in the BIS ring with the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, CH  Albridens The Show Must Go On, the Otterhound, GCH CH Aberdeen’s Under The Influence, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Kinjacks Back To The Future CD THD RE, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH True Blue Madonna, the Papillon, GCH CH Wingssong Here We Go Again, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Vogelflight’s “Honor” to Pillowtalk, and the Belgian Sheepdog, GCH CH Bonntymes Keepn It Real At Devine.

Her BIS was the Chessie, Aries, and her RBIS was the Rott, Elsa.   Aries picks up his very first BIS just two days after his first birthday.  We call that precocious.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Stephanie Larson, and owner/handler Diane Baker.

Only the Bichon and Kerry would make it back to Frank Washabaugh’s final on Sunday.  Joining them were the Gordon Setter, GCH CH Buteos Midnight Silence, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Hundeleben Queens Armada SL, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Vondura’s Xcelerator Belle Amie, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Sandy Babes Tradewinds As Ever, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Wyndlair Cherokee Vindication.

He would like the Bichon, Honor, for his Best and the Dachshund, Cheese, for his Reserve.  Honor now has nine BIS and 34 Non-Sporting Groups, good enough to make him the Number Three Non-Sporting Dog.
