CH Raquel Welch Of Malabo APD
We return to the Northeast for a report from Wrightstown PA
where the Greater Philadelphia Dog Fanciers Association, the Huntingdon Valley
Kennel Club, and the Burlington County Kennel Club gave us three chances to see
some of the country’s top dogs. The
GPDFA was up first and they chose Dr Anthony DiNardo to choose a Best and
Reserve from the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Birchwood's Tropical Night
Fever RA, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Raquel Welch Of Malabo APD, the
Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse, the Norfolk
Terrier, GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket to Ride, the Long Goat Chihuahua, CH
Bayard Yours Truly, the Keeshond, CH Showtyme's Happy Feet, and the Australian
Shepherd, CH Rosevalley's Special Edition.
GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse
He went with the Ridgeback, Rachel, for BIS, and her kennel
mate, the PWD, Matisse, as RBIS. T’s the
first of the year for Rachel and handler Michelle Scott in eight final
appearances.

Next up was judge Betsy Dale for the HKC. The seven she saw were the English Setter, CH
Wyndswept's Reflection of the Heart, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Exlysta Aries
Ciel Noir, the Samoyed, CH McMagic’s Mojo, the same Norfolk, Rider, the Pug,
GCH CH Riversong’s Doc Holiday, the Schipperke, CH De Lamer Sea Ya At The Top,
and the Puli, GCH CH Wallbanger Fringe.
GCH CH Wallbanger Fringe
Her Best was the Norfolk, Rider, and her Reserve was the
Puli, Fringe. The win, Rider’s second of
this year, is good enough to make Rider the Number One Norfolk and the Number
Six Terrier.

Roger Hartinger had the closer for the BCKC. The seven dogs that stayed to the end to see
him were the previously seen Afghan and Norfolk, the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH
CH P’Gell N BLT Bonus Bucks, the
Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Sharjets Starr Catcher CD RN CGC, the Toy Poodle, Baliwick
Bit of Class, the Standard Poodle, CH L’Paige Islands In The Stream, and the
Smooth Collie, GCH CH Tir Na N’ Og The Legend of Banzai Maguire.
Judge Hartinger would choose Ryder & Rider, the
returning Afghan & Norfolk, as his BIS & RBIS. The Afghan Ryder, has garnered three BIS this,
all in the last three weekends. Sounds like
people are starting to notice.
