West Fargo ND was one of only two sites offering exhibitors an extended weekend of dog shows. The Fargo-Moorhead Kennel Club started the fun on Friday with Wayne Bousek in the final ring with the English Springer Spaniel, CH Tagalong’s Boy Oh Boy, the Whippet, CH Sporting Field’s Bahama Sands, the Standard Schnauzer, CH Shalimar’s Golden Ticket, the Norwich Terrier, CH Skyscot’s Poker Chip, the Shih Tzu, CH Olive Grove Odd Thomas, the Bulldog, CH Evergreen’s Hullabaloo Hustle, and the German Shepherd Dog, Zytut’s Say It Isn’t So. Best went to the country’s Number Four Terrier, the Norwich, Pokey. We have it as number four this year for Pokey and handler Brenda Combs.
CH Tagalong’s Boy Oh Boy
Saturday brought Shelley Hennesy and the previously mentioned Springer & Shih Tzu, the American Foxhound, CH Devlon’s Fame And Fortune, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Tevro’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH J’Cobe Broxden’s The Headline, the Miniature Poodle, CH Amity Mystical Horizon’s heaven Sent, and the Belgian Sheepdog, CH Chargany’s Voyageur. Her Best was the Springer, Liam. We think this just might be his first BIS ever. Congratulationbs to breeder/owner Sarah Kraft. Robert Shreve closed it out on Sunday with the Liam, the previously mentioned Whippet, Doberman, & Norwich, the Havanese, CH Hearatland Keeping The Secret, the Standard Poodle, CH Swag’s Electric Slide, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Margaux’s Venture Capital. It was the big Poodle, Cruz, taking home the last rosette of the weekend. Again, we believe this to be another first time BIS. Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Terri Meyers and owner Kristen Gerdesmeier.
