GOLDEN VALLEY KC DAY ONE

GCH CH Dreamcatcher Major Victory of Loki

To most Americans California is a vast hedonistic strip of ocean front property populated by trendy, tanned beautiful people in the southern state and urbane, politically correct activists in the northern state.  However, the heart of the state can be found on the other side of the coastal ridge in the vast valleys that stretch from the Mexican border to the Oregon state line.  Populated by the grandchildren of immigrants from all over the world and the US, it is the part of the state in which one can find someone who shares more with the rest of the US than residents of San Francisco or Los Angeles do.

GCH CH Absolutely Talk of the Town

Turlock CA, 100 miles east of San Francisco, was the site of today’s Golden Valley Kennel Club show.  The seven dogs that made it to judge Anne Katona’s final were the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Clussexx Collaboration with Traddles, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, the Tibetan Mastiff, GCH CH Dreamcatcher Major Victory of Loki, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Absolutely Talk of the Town, the Pekingese, CH Oakhill’s Caught Red Handed, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH PaRay Power & Privilege, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Allure at Wyndstar.

Her BIS was the TM, Major, and her RBIS was the Smooth Fox Terrier, Taylor.  Major is the nation’s Number One Tibetan Mastiff with two BIS and 18 Working Groups.
