Frank Washabaugh had the good fortune to be in beautiful Carmel today to call the BIS for day one of the Del Monte Kennel Club.
His options were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Silhouette’s LifeInTheFastLane, the Basset Hound, GCH CH Blossomhill Hello Dolly, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Catanya’s Latin Lover, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Perrisblu Kennislain‘s Cheksey, the Pomeranian, GCH CH CR Simply Irresistible, the Chow Chow, GCH CH Fortune’s All Eyez on Me, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH cH Mariel’s Harvest Moon.
His Best was the Malamute, Ricky. Ricky has been a regular fixture in west coast finals for the last two years. He is well ahead of last year’s pace with 22 Working Groups, one shy of his 2010 total. He now has five all breed Bests this year, all coming within the last 60 days.
