We wonder if fanciers realize just how unusual this season
is. We cannot recall when the sport’s
top competitors have maintained such a high level of excellence. For the second consecutive weekend, our Top
Three Dogs All Breeds have dominated the shows at their respective locations.
The Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Hearts on Fire, the Number
Three Dog’s weekend consisted of a pair of BIS performances at the Little Fort
Kennel Club of Waukegan’s two shows on Friday and Sunday in Grayslake IL. Today’s win under judge Michael Dougherty
was against the English setter, GCH CH Stargaze'R 'N Wingfield Wait Wait Don't Tell, the RBIS,
the Otterhound, GCH CH Aberdeens Under The Influence, the Rottweiler, GCH CH
Gamegards I'll Have Another V Braeside, the Dandie Dinmont Terrier, GCH CH
King’s Mtn. Angelina Ballerina, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel,
Huntcrest Rumor Has It, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Clarion Nightline II. The two wins brings Flame’s 2014 record to
22 BIS and 58 Non-Sporting Groups.

Out in Blackfoot ID, our Number Two Dog, the Old English
Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect, ended the week with five straight
BIS and an RBIS in six trips to the final ring in three Idaho cities. Today’s win came at the Eagle Rock Kennel
Club show in Blackfoot ID. Joining
Swagger in DrJose Luis Payro were the English springer Spaniel, GCH CH Hill-N-Don & Canyonwood Seemore of Me, the Pharaoh
Hound, GCH CH Osiris Cowboy Casanova, the Akita, GCH CH Sondaisa Fyre When
Ready, the Scottish Terrier, Gyver Original Sin, and the Cavalier King Charles
Spaniel, GCH CH Quail Garden Loch Lomond Déjà vu, and the Boston Terrier, CH
Naughty Norteno’s Clik Clik Bang.

fourth straight BIS in Tampa FL at Sunday’s St Petersburg Dog Fanciers
Association show. Challenging Matisse
for the win were the English Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Fieldstone Carousel Hell's
Kitchen, judge Jon Cole’s RBIS, the Wirehaired Dachshund, GCH CH Leorallee’s
Bay Watch MW, the Cane Corso, GCH CH Dolcetto Dionysus of Garritani CGC, the
Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Wrightwyn’s Power Play, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Abbapoola’s
Mr Slice of Life, the Keeshond, GCH CH Trumpet’s Gimme Back My Bullets, and the
Shetland Sheepdog, CH Lakehill’s Creme Brulee.
Matisse finishes the week with 61 BIS and 79 Working Groups.
