CH Summits Emery It’s In The Bag
For once we had a lot of action in the central US. The Rapid City Kennel Club has set up for four days in their hometown in South Dakota. On Friday, they finished the day with Jon Cole in a final with the Golden Retriever, CH Summits Emery It’s In The Bag, the Norwegian Elkhound, CH Greyplume’s Think Green, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the Australian Terrier, GCH CH Kambara’s Zebulon, the Pomeranian, CH CR’s Simply Irresistible, the Bulldog, CH Caylee’s the Sky Is The Limit, and the Australian Cattle Dog, GCH CH Duwest Jackrabbit. His Best was the Golden, Chloe. It’s the second for Chloe and breeder/owner/handler Beth Johnson.

As we reported Barbara Demspey Alderman’s BIS on Saturday was the above mentioned Australian Terrier, Zeb, fresh from his BOB win at Friday’s Australian Terrier Club of America’s National Specialty. Rounding out the final were the Kuvasz & Bulldog from Friday, the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Ripsnorter’s Mt View Lookout, the Basenji, CH Signet Meisterhaus Gossip Girl, the Smooth Chihuahua, GCH CH Ayrwen Star Kissed Delight, and the Smooth Collie, CH Bit O’Heven’s Sorceress.

Sunday closed with Michelle Billings final of the previously named GWP, Kuvasz, & Chihuahua, the Afghan Hound, CH Kuhl Breeze Blood N Swash FCH SC, the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadow lake Whistler At Ambary, the Bulldog, Evergreen’s Miss Congeniality, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Recluse of Rustic Hills. Her BIS was the nation’s Number Eight Dog All breeds, the GWP, Scout. Scout and handler Frank Murphy have collected 24 big rosettes this year.
