LINCOLN NE RESULTS

GCH CH Margaux’s Venture Capital

One place we haven’t reported on this week is Lincoln NE where the Platte Valley Kennel Club Of Fremont, Nebraska & the Cornhusker Kennel Club Of Lincoln, Nebraska were set up Thursday through Sunday for four all breed shows.  The PVKCFN was up first with Mildred Bryant gathering the Clumber Spaniel, Ch Nexus Dark Horse, the Bloodhound, CH Quiet Creek’s Windfall, the Samoyed, GCH CH Glacier’s N Rowdy’s Czargent Trouble, West Highland White Terrier, CH Snowy River’s Avalanche JE, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Austin Powers, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Kasino’s Domino Effect, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Margaux’s Venture Capital.  Her BIS was the five year old Bouvier, Turner.    It’s the first BIS this year for Turner and handler Douglas A Carlson.  Congratulations to Doug, breeder/owner Sandi Lyon and owner Priscilla Martin.

On Friday at the day two show of the PVKCFN Houston Clark saw Turner, the aforementioned Clumber, the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Del Rey’s Roosevelt Rough Rider, the Rottweiler, CH Evrmor Extraordinaire V Stoneridge, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CHC J’Cobe Broxden The Headliner, the Yorkshire Terrier, CH Stratford’s Diamond Jim, and the Shiba Inu, GCH CH Sonkei Ichy Ryu At Pendragon.  It was the Beagle’s day as he picked up his first all breed BIS of the year.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Erich Brandt & Jane Catz, owners R Hilton & D Lipari, and handler Heather Lindberg.

Saturday, the CKCLN took over and put Neil Graves in the final ring with the previously mentioned Beagle, Smooth Fox, Shih Tzu, the English Setter, CH Oakley’s It Must Be Karma, the Mastiff, Ch Goldleaf’s Sherman Tank, a Standard Poodle from the Open Bitch class, Ramlar’s Pretty in Pink With RNR, and the Australian Cattle Dog, CH Dawn heir’s He’s The Boss  He chose the country’s Number eleven Dog All Breeds, the Shih Tzu, Austin, as his BIS.  The question is will Austin make it into the vaunted Top Ten?

Alane Gomez had the closing BIS duty on Sunday and her pick of previous finalists the Clumber, the Beagle, the Rottweiler, the Shih Tzu, the Poodle, and the Standard Manchester Terrier, GCH CH Medley’s War Hunt, & the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Leeason Rock My Soul.  Her BIS was the Manchester, another first timer.   Congratulations breeders Tamara Myer & Roger Gutierrez and owners Ed & Jeanette Tonini.
