CRAB CAKES & COCKERS

Baltimore's Beautiful Inner Harbor

We will be out an about in this busy coming week.  Look for us on Saturday at Old Dominion Kennel Club of Northern Virginia, one of the three big all breed shows in Timonium MD, north of Baltimore.  The Columbia Terrier Association Of Maryland will warm up Friday for  Old Dominion KCNV, the Baltimore County Kennel Club, & the Catoctin Kennel Club.

Friday New Englanders will gather in West Springfield MA for the Springfield Kennel Club, South Windsor Kennel Club, & Pioneer Valley Kennel Club’s three shows.    Down in the Sunshine State, the Heartland Dog Club Of Florida will be in Zolfo Springs FL (75 miles southeast of Tampa) for the weekend.

Up in the Great Lakes region, it will be a leisurely one day stop in Columbus OH with the Central Ohio Kennel Club.  Midwesterners have a healthy four days in Terre Haute IN  with the Terre Haute Kennel Club & Bloomington Indiana Kennel Club.  The fun starts Thursday.  It will be chilly, but above freezing, in Fond du Lac WI for the hometown Fond Du Lac Kennel Club’s traditional weekend.  It will be a tad warmer in Waterloo IA for the Waterloo Kennel Club’s twofer.

Down here in the South we have lots of options.  You can choose two days in Harrison AR (80 miles due south of Springfield MO) with the North Arkansas Kennel Club, three days in Montgomery AL with the Anniston Kennel Club, Montgomery Kennel Club, & Cahaba Valley Kennel, or a rollicking four days in the Shreveport suburb of Bossier City LA with the Shreveport Kennel Club & D'Arbonne Kennel Club.

You will have to travel two time zones west for our remaining shows.  Take your pick of the Angeles Canyon Kennel Club’s weekend in the Los Angles berg of City of Industry, two in the San Francisco Bay area with the Chief Solano Kennel Club in Vallejo CA, or go full bore four in Lewiston ID (100 mile south of Spokane WA) where the Palouse Hills Dog Fanciers will kick off on Thursday, followed by the Lewis-Clark Kennel Club’s two.

What could be better this weekend than crab cakes & Cockers?
