GCH CH Mountain View National Acclaim
Before we turn to this week's shows, we still have some
results to bring you from the last two weeks.
We are going to go to the other side of the Rockies to Lewiston ID where
the Palouse Hills Dog Fanciers and the Lewis-Clark Kennel Club combined for
four shows April 19-22.
GCH CH Tawny Mist Myan Mystic
The PHDF was up first and chose Stephen Hubbell to command
the opening final. His options were the
German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mountain View National Acclaim, the Black
& Tan Coonhound, GCH CH Windbourne HD Ranch King Of The Road, the
Rottweiler, GCH CH Highwood's Call of The Wild, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH
Saredon Shockwave at Irisblu, the Silky Terrier, GCH CH Tawny Mist Myan Mystic,
the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the German Shepherd
Dog, Windcrest Gun powder And Lead.
Collecting the top two awards were the GWP, Phelps, and the
Silky, Copan. It’s the first all breed BIS for Phelps. Congratulations to breeders Claire Wisch,
Helen George-Witt, Kelly Wisch, & James Witt, owners Norma Paduch, Pete
Paduch, & Betty Stroh, and handler Robert F Perry.

Saturday, Denise Cornelssen would see the same Kerry Blue,
Silky, & Standard Poodle, the Weimaraner, GCH CH Diamond MK The Eagle Has
Landed, the Longhaired Dachshund, Sleepy Hollow Carolina Special, the Doberman
Pinscher, GCH CH Tiburon Arsenal, and the Beauceron, GCH CH De Joie Du Chateau
Rocher. Judge Cornelssen would go with
the Silky, Copan, and the Standard Poodle, Ally, as her BIS and RBIS.

GCH CH Windbourne HD Ranch King Of The Road
The LCKC took over on Sunday and put Richard Lopaschuk in
the final ring with the Brittany, CH Sanbar's Ride The Winds, the previously
seen Coonhound, the Tibetan Mastiff, GCH CH Dreamcatcher Major Victory Of Loki,
the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Saredon Shockwave at Irisblu, the Brussels Griffon,
GCH CH Hilltop's GQ Cover Boy, the Standard Poodle, Ally, and the Australian
Shepherd, GCH CH Melody Hit The Jackpot CD RN PT. Judge Lopaschuk chose the Coonhound, Roy, as
his Best and the Poodle, Ally, as his Reserve.
Roy and Ally would be back for Monday’s BIS with Gloria
Geringer. Her remaining five dogs were
the now familiar GWP, Phelps, the Doberman, Gunner, the Silky, Copan, the Australian
Shepherd, Copan, and the Bedlington Terrier, CH Pine River's Show Me The Money. Once again Roy would walk off with the big
rosette, leaving the Silky with her second Reserve of the set.
The wins were the first of the year for Roy and the first
BIS by a Black & Tan in the last two years.
