TWO CITIES KC DAY ONE

The West Coast checks in with results from Yuba City CA where the Two Cities Kennel Club’s day one show was held today.  Keke Kahn considered the English Setter, GCH CH St’r Ridge’s Exclusively Gold, the Basset Hound, GCH CH Bloosmhill’s Hello Dolly, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Steinhaus Maxim Courage RN, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Friendship Hill Stars and Stripes, the Silky Terrier, CH Musicale’s Dancing Henry, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH PaRay Power & Privilege, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Hatch Tillie de la Salsa.

Her Best In Show was the Scottie, Conor.  It’s the first this year for Conor who has also collected 11 Terrier Group Firsts as well.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Margaret Browne & Patricia M Gallatin and handler Amy Rutherford.

TYLER TEXAS KENNEL CLUB 1

GCH CH Starline’s Chanel

From Canton TX we hear that the winningest Whippet in AKC history, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, has added another BIS to her resume, taking home the BIS from today’s Tyler Texas Kennel Club show.   George Boulton additional finalists were the Vizsla, GCH CH Regal Point Pinnacle Of Kilauea, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall I Dream of Style, the Standard Manchester Terrier, Wilane's Sophisticated Lady, the Pekingese, GCH CH Benaires N Elphasuns Razzmatazz, the Chow Chow, CH Benaires N Elphasuns Razzmatazz, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Bayoulands Grand Illusion.

Cha Cha and handler Lori Wilson are marching toward another banner year with her 29th BIS of 2011.

HANOVER KC DAY ONE

The Hanover joined the weekend fun today with their first of two shows in Wilimington NC.  Robert Fetter summoned the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Tender Is The Night, the Greyhound, GCH CH Rubicon He’s So Fine, the Mastiff, GCH CH Lazy D’s Spartacus at her Majesty’s Miniature Schnauzer, CH Lonestar’s  Standing Ovation, the Toy Manchester Terrier, CH Celtric Cross Lady of  Shalott at Carpe Diem, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Hightide Eclipse, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Mysharas Dream Girl.

Best went to the jet black Poodle.  It’s her third this year.

GREATER VENICE FL DOG CLUB 1

The Greater Venice Florida Dog Club took over on day three in Arcadia FL, with Ann Hearn in the final ring.  Joining Ann were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Gemini Fallchase The Butler Did It, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Sunteckels Samuell II, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Trillium Blue‘s Raising The Bar, the Australian Terrier, GCH CH Kambara‘s Zebulon, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Bar-None Fabulosity, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside Get Over It.

She chose the MinPin, Classie, as her Best.  Classie and owner/handler Armando Angelbello  now have 17 BIS this year, six in the last 30 days.

CATONSVILLE KC DAY ONE

The Catonsville got the three day weekend going in West Friendship MD today with their day one show.  Paula Nykiel greeted the Vizsla, GCH CH Artisan Grouse Point Pink Panther JH, the Norwegian Elkhound, GCH CH Sommeri Dunharrow’s Devil Ray, the Rottweiler, GCH CH D'Oro Solidos Feliciano Uno, the Welsh Terrier, CH Happitails Guinevere at Territails, the Papillon, GCH CH Lafford Fly Me Too Farleybane, the GCH CH Spotlight’s Ruffian, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Bon Idee’s Great Expectations.

Best went to the Rott, Lucky.  It’s number Five for Lucky and handler Michelle Scott this season.

GREATER NAPLES DOG CLUB 2

We hear that the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Gemini Fallchase The Butler Did It, has posted back2back BIS, taking both of  the Greater Naples Dog Club’s two shows in Arcadia FL.   You can read about day one here.  Today Cody & handler Jane Myers ended up at the head of Joan Anselm’s line up.  She might have chosen the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgates As You Like It, the Great Dane, CH Moonriver‘s Hanlondane‘s Hitman, the Australian Terrier, GCH CH Kambara‘s Zebulon, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dacun Kaylen's He's A Heartbreaker, or the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Equinox Ad Astra, but she didn't.

The Greater Venice Florida Dog Club takes over tomorrow and Cody & Jane will be back looking for their seventh BIS of the year.

BOISE ID DAY ONE

GCH CH Slyfox Sneaks A Peek

It was noisy in Boise yesterday as the Lizard Butte Kennel Club opened the four day visit in Idaho’s capitol city.  Houston Clark had the final ring on the first day and the seven of the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Goarrhein Chateau Palos Shiraz, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Slyfox Sneaks A Peek, the Pekingese, GCH CH Windemere's Dusting Of White At Pevyne, the Schipperke, GCH CH Bonchien Mr Monopoly, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Leeason Rock My Soul.

His BIS was the country’s Number One Terrier, the Smooth Fox, Adam.  It’s Adam’s second year among the country’s Top Twenty All Breeds.    Adam and handler Eddie Boyes have 16 all breed Bests & 48 Terrier Group top prizes this season.

OLD ENGLISH SHEEPDOG NATIONAL

We just heard from the Hickory Metro Convention Center in Hickory NC that the Old English Sheepdog Club of America has the winner of their 2011 National Specialty.  It was the five year old dog, CH Bugaboo's Big Shot getting the nod from judge Mary Ann Brocious.  Also taking home major awards were the Best of Opposite Sex, CH Masquerade Mint Julep, the Best of Winners & Winners Bitch, Whisperwood Steel Magnolia at Lakewood, and the Winners Dog, Barshire Just Dandy.

BOB Shooter has been spending a lot of time in Canada where he was the winner of the 2010 National Specialty of the Old English Sheepdog & Owners Club of Canada.   He and handler Jennifer McClintock have logged eleven BIS & three reserves this year in Canada.  Congratulations to Jennifer, breeders Doug & Michaelanne Johnson, and owners Doug & Michaelanne Johnson.

GIANT SCHNAUZER CUB OF AMERICA

GCH CH Ingebars Siasconset Rose

Purina Farms in Gray Summit MO was the site for the 2011 National Specialty of the Giant Schnauzer Club of America.  Breeder judge Wilfried Lohmann made the trip from Brackel, Germany to judge the regular classes.  His BISS was the four year old bitch, GCH CH Ingebars Siasconset Rose.  Additional awards went to CH Hi Style's Sin In A Suit (BOS), Momentumm Four Wheel Drive (WD/BW), &  Momentumm Fade to Black CD RAE (WB).

The win gives Sconcey bragging rights as the 2011 leader in breed points.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Maryann Bisceglia, owner Mike Reece, and handler Scott Sommer, assisted by Adam Peterson.

Our first results of the weekend come in from the Greater Naples Dog Club’s day one show in Arcadia FL.   Dawn Hansen’s final featured the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Gemini Fallchase The Butler Did It, the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgates As You Like It, the Boxer, GCH CH Tamaron’s Leonidas, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, GCH CH Prada Classic Aran Isle at Donellas, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dacun Kaylen's He's A Heartbreaker, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Equinox Ad Astra.

Day one went to the Golden, Cody.   Handler Jane Myers has shown Cody to five all breed BIS and 47 Sporting Group wins this year, making Cody the Number Six Sporting Dog.

GO BEFORE GAS PRICES RISE

The summer heat is gone and the torrential rains have given way to the crisp, clean air of fall.  Some of the prettiest venues and best competition happen at this time of year.

If you are in the New York Metro area you will be heading west to the Augusta NJ on Friday to spend three days with the Palisades Kennel Club & the Ramapo Kennel Club, while Mid-Atlantic residents will head to West Friendship MD for the Catonsville Kennel Club & Maryland Kennel Club’s three shows.   Continuing south, there’s two with the Hanover Kennel Club in Wilmington NC and four starting Thursday in Arcadia FL courtesy of the Greater Naples Dog Club & the Greater Venice Florida Dog Club.

After a month of dog show bounty, the Great Lakes Region checks in with one option, the Mad River Valley Kennel Club two shows in Urbana OH.  Look for the Tri-star Kennel Club Of Williamson County, Tennessee two shows in Nashville TN  & the Mason City Kennel Club’s weekend in their Iowa hometown to benefit.

There’s lot’s of options across the Great Plains, the Lawrence Jayhawk Kennel Club in Lawrence KS, the Sooner State Kennel Club in Enid OK & the Tyler Texas Kennel Club in Canton TX  are all hosting traditional two day weekends.  For the second week in a row we have a four show set in New Mexico, the  Sangre De Cristo Kennel Club & the Valencia Valley Kennel Club Of New Mexico quartet in Los Lunas NM.  The fun starts Thursday.

Boise ID will be the site for another four show fun fest with the Lizard Butte Kennel Club & the Idaho Capital City Kennel Club in Charge.  Rounding out our far west options are the Black Mountain Kennel Club Of Nevada duo in Primm NV, on the edge of the Mojave Desert and the Two Cities Kennel Club’s twofer in Yuba City CA north of Sacramento.

There’s no Republican presidential debate this weekend so you have no excuse for not going to an AKC show.  Do it before gas prices go back up.

DOBERMAN PINSCHER CLUB OF AMERICA NATIONAL SPECIALTY

While we were neck deep in Terrier news this past week we heard that DOG2WATCH, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, collected her second consecutive National Specialtgy BISS from the Doberman Pinscher Club Of America in Fitchburg MA.

With 257 dogs competing in the regular classes, including 138 specials, judge Bill Shelton had a Solomon-esque decision to make.  In addition to BOB FiFi, he also awarded CH Tiburon Arsenal as his BOS, and Hollywood’s Angels N’ Demons as his WB/BW.  Rodogards Arg Gambler Ghost was Ray Carlisle’s WD.

FiFi is the country’s Number One Doberman Pinscher, the Number Four Working Dog, & the Number 19 Dog All Breeds with Ten all breed BIS & 32 Working Groups.  A big congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Jocelyn Mullins, co-breeder Kevin Mullins, and owners Suzy & Dick Lundy.

GREATER HUMBLE AREA KC

GCH CH Summit’s The Titanic

We have results in from this weekend’s Greater Humble Area Kennel Club’s two shows in Humble TX (and, no, it is not true that Humble was the inspiration for the two man play, Greater Tuna.  Clap if you know the Dale Rogers Swim Suit reference.)  One dog that made the most of the West Texas setting was the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Summit’s The Titanic, who grabbed both of the GHAKC’s two BIS.

Joining Leo and owner/handler Brianna Bischoff in Beth Lachnitt’s final Saturday were the Saluki, DC Shahtani Ivory Moon SC, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Evrmor Extraordinaire v Stoneridge, the West Highland White Terrier, CH Mac-Ken-Char’s here I Am, the Italian Greyhound, GCH CH Everafters Best Bet Yet, the Schipperke, GCH CH Dante’s Fire When Ready HOF, and the Smooth Collie, CH Traveler’s Pierce Arrow.

Sunday Leo would compete with the aforementioned Saluki, Rottweiler, & Schipperke, the Border Terrier, GCH CH Devon Lady Semper Fi, the Pomeranian, Reigningstarz Its 5 O'Clock Somewhere, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey’s Tails of Mystery.

These are Leo’s first BIS of the year in ten final appearances.  Our congratulations to Brianna, breeder/owner Beth Johnson, co-breeder Ana Carolina Navarro, and owners Pamela & Richard Sherry.

ALAMOGORDO DAYS 2,3, & 4

They wrapped up the four day stop in Alamogordo NM yesterday with the day two show of the Mesilla Valley Kennel Club.  You will recall that we gave you a report on Friday’s Chaparral Kennel Club day one show earlier.

Saturday the CKC followed up with Suzanne Dillin’s final including the English Setter, GCH CH Oakley’s B’Dazzled, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, the Boxer, GCH CH R and G’s Mystical Dancer, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Belgar’s Desert Sand, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Winning Ribbon, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Australian Cattle Dog, GCH CH Carben Copy’s If The Shoe Fits.

It was the elegant English Setter, Dazzle, picking up the big rosette.  Dazzle and handler Bruce Schultz have now collected Five all breed Bests and 28 Sporting Group Firsts to make Dazzle the top winning English Setter this year.

The MVKC took over on Sunday and put Christine Hubbell in the final ring with the above named Bloodhound, Toy Poodle, & Cattle Dog, the Golden Retriever, Scion Hott Pants RN, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood silver Six Pence, the Miniature Bull Terrier, GCH CH Temris Bully For Me, and the Dalmatian, GCH CH Kastle’s Go Speed Racer.

Her choice for BIS was the Mini Bull, Wilson.  Wilson is the Top Winning Miniature Bull Terrier in AKC history with four  Bests In Show and 22 Terrier Group top prizes.

Monday it all came down to Linda Scanlon musing over the English Setter, Dazzle, the Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, the previously mentioned Boxer, Danny, the Colored Bull Terrier, GCH CH Glentom’s You Were Mint for Me, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Miletree Northern Star at Shirmont, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Highwood’s Big Shot, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Melody’s Night Moves at Baywind.

It was the Cavalier with the melting expression, Teddy, taking home the last BIS of the weekend.  Teddy and handler Clint Livinston now have six BIS and 23 Toy Groups to their credit this year. making Teddy the Number One Cavalier all systems.

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS KC

While many of the nation’s finest flocked to Pennsylvania this weekend in search of a piece of the big point action, others preferred to stay closer to home and enjoy their local shows.  The Northwest Arkansas Kennel Club was in Fayetteville AR for their two shows.

The first day wrapped up with James Briley looking over the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Cajun’s A Change Is Gonna Come, the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgate’s AS You Like It, the Bernese Mountain Dog, Lavish’s Dark Horse v Ayehli, the Smooth Fox Terrier, Trimore Three Things to Remember Nilee, the Pomeranian, GCH CH CR Simply Irresistible, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Chaoyang Chick Magnet at Asia, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Kylene Eden The Dragon Slayer HIC.

The top Pharaoh Hound in AKC history added another BIS to his record, his 29th of the year & his 46th career BIS.

GCH CH Szumeria’s Sing a Song of Six Pence

Sunday Mary Lou Kniola would see the same Pharaoh Hound, Pom, Shar-Pei, & Sheltie along with the Pointer, CH Seasyde Edgehill Heart of Gold, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Sing a Song of Six Pence, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Crossguns Black Eye Pea.

She chose the Kuvasz, Song as her Best In Show.  It’s the first all breed Best for Song,, litter sister to the winningest Kuvazs in breed history & the current Number Six Dog All Breeds, GCH CH Szumeria's Wildwood Silver Six Pence.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Lynn Brady & Constance Townsend, co-breeders Bea & Clay Page, owner Sandy Herring, and handler Vicki Havicon.

DONNER TRAIL KENNEL CLUB

From Roseville CA in the Sierra foothills, we have results of this weekend’s Donner Trail Kennel Club.

On Saturday it was the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Segre’s Brown Derby RA NA NAJ, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Field’s Bahama Sands, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Mystique’s Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, the Standard Manchester terrier, GCH CH Medley’s Princess Bride, the Toy Manchester Terrier, GCH CH Rosewood Casanova, the Boston Terrier, CH Sunwood’s Regal design, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Rainedance Written in Stone PT AX AXJ, all lining up for judge Mildred Bryant.

Her Best was the Doberman, Lucy.  This ingénue is just 20 months old.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Rick King & Susan King and handler Carmen Ruby on Lucy’s first Working Group One & her very first all breed BIS.  Can we get a photo of this debutante?

George Marquis wrapped it up on Sunday with the Weimaraner, GCH CH Silhouette’s LifeInTheFastLane, the Saluki, GCH CH Jamora Mystic Topaz JC, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Catanya’s Latin Lover, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH A Cut Above, the Pug, GCH CH Storybook’s Legacy to Cherish at Coral Bay, the Keeshond, GCH CH Summerwind’s Rumor Has It, and the above named Aussie.

It was one of our original DOGS2WATCH, the Malamute, Ricky, picking up his sixth BIS & his 22nd Working Group First of the year.  Ricky has been the nation’s Number One Alaskan Malamute for the last two years.

BIS judge John Studebaker had the pleasure of the company of the ASCOB Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Creek Ridge Eye Wanna Be A Rock Star, the Norwegian Elkhound, GCH CH Aspen's Power Play, the Boxer, GCH CH Katandy's Fast Forward, the Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Glaurieus Top Super Mod Elle, the Maltese, GCH CH Ta-Jon's Just Bee-Ing Silly, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Hispot's  Cause For Applause, and the Smooth Collie, GCH CH Lisara's Smooth Operator.

Best In Show went to the Boxer, Frankie.  It’s the first all breed Best for Frankie, who is a multi BISS and was BOS at this year’s American Boxer Club's National Specialty.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Lee Morris and handler Stan Flowers.  We have been promised a photo of this handsome boy.

Our Post Montgomery County Monday Morning Mop Up is upon us and we are going to start in Philpott KY with the Owensboro Kennel Club’s two shows.

William Underwood had the day one final and his choice of the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Basset Hound, GCH CH For Merrill Topsfield Yahoo, the Alaskan Malamute, CH Canutes U Talking To Me, the Scottish Terrier, CH Sabo Glens Angel Fire, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Brackley He’s My Warrior, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Taliesin Fashion Forward.

His Best was the MinPin, Maximum.  It’s his fourth of the year and his second in the last two weekends.

Sunday the Black Russian Terrier, GCH CH Lancelot Chiornyy Prints would join six of Saturday’s finalists to plead their case with BIS judge Dennis McCoy.    He would choose AKC’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the Cocker, Beckham.   Beckham’s second BIS of the weekend, gives him a field leading 51 all breed Bests in 2011.

FULTON COUNTY KC DAY TWO

Day two of the Fulton County Kennel Club in Wauseon OH ended with Joe Walton pondering a choice of the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Tender Is The Night, the Greyhound, GCH CH Gaia Elfin Dance, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Bolero Gentle Gisele Of Briarcliff Pointe, the Border Terrier, GCH CH Lyrical's Shake Your Moneymaker, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Bichon Frise, CH Cher Ami s Babeau Pour Vous, or the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch.

He would go with the Number Two Dog All Breeds, the Peke, Malachy.  Malachy is on track to be the Number One Toy Dog in the US for the second year in a row with 43 BIS.

If you were looking for all breed action today in Pennsylvania you were in Aliquippa PA for the Beaver County Kennel Club's day two show.  The seven who made it to Robert Slay’s final were the Brittany, GCH CH Carrollton's Count Lancelot , the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Kontoki’s a Bend in the Road, the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH Cracknor’s Cross the Ts, the Maltese, CH Chrisman’s Shiny Toy Gun, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Barberry’s Sweet As Apple Pie, and the Briard, CH Le Coeur d’Ange de Briardale.

Grabbing the big rosette was the Siberian, Benson.  Benson now has three BIS this year, two in the last two weeks.

SUWANNEE KC OF FL DAY TWO

Florida Fanciers were in Lake City today for day two with the Suwannee Valley Kennel Club Of Florida.  James Fredericksen summoned a seven of the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Gemini Fallchase The Butler Did It , the Whippet, GCH CH Bo-Bett’s Speed Demon, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Cammcastle‘s Gigolo, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Major League‘s Silver Slugger, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Dancee Moonlight Fashion, the Bulldog, CH Lakeshores Can't Keep A Good Man Down, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Equinox Ad Astra.

Picking up his second BIS of the year was the Whippet, Demon.  Demon has turned on the afterburners lately, picking up half of his twelve Hound Group Firsts in the last five weeks.

Pete Dawkins closed out the weekend for the Augusta (SC) Kennel Club.  The seven he considered were the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Buck Stops Here JH, the Whippet, GCH CH Karasar’s Masterpiece, the Great Pyrenees, GCH CH Rivergroves Coco Mademoiselle, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Mustang Sally‘s Dream Boy, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Bodacious Sleeping With The Enemy, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Myshara’s Dream Girl.  Best went to the Great Pyrenees, Coco.  It her second this year in a dozen final appearances.

We do have some all breed results to bring you as well.  The Pug, GCH CH Caper's Sirius Endeavor, left Pennsylvania for Essex Junction VT where he collected the BIS at the day two show of the Champlain valley Kennel Club.  
 
Rounding out June Penta’s final were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Hillock’s A Diamond at Broadway, the Norwegian Elkhound, GCH CH Sommeri Dunharrow’s Devil ray, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Huskavarna’s destined to win, the Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Notice Northern Lights, the American Eskimo Dog, GCH CH Nuuktok’s Atka Inukshuk, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins.  Rufus and owner/handler now have eleven all breed BIS.

GCH CH Efbe’s Goodspice Easy Money

While the first week of October can be wet & chilly in suburban Philadelphia, today’s 77th Montgomery County Kennel Club show was greeted by sunny skies and downright balmy temperatures today in Blue Bell PA.  1600 dogs showed up to compete at the largest limited breed show in AKC.  
Four of the breeds had more than 100 dogs showing.  Those BOB winners were the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Maverston Double Dutch, the Scottish Terrier, CH Deblin’s Just Talk’N, the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, CH Greentree Rising Star, and the West Highland White Terrier, GCH CH Blythefell Fergus.

Australian judge Keith Lovell got to see all 29 AKC Terrier breeds/varieties in his group, an exceedingly rare occurrence these days.  He whittled those down to nine, the Airedale, GCH CH Brisline’s GoForIt Energizer Bunny, the Bedlington, CH First Class Syrah d’Hermitage, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Perrisblu Kennislain’s Chelsey, the Lakeland, CH Northcote’s No Doubt, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Waiterock Jack Falstaff, the Sealyham Terrier, GCH CH Efbe’s Goodspice Easy Money, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, the Welsh Terrier, GCH CH Bruhill’s First Lady, and the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Steele Your Heart.

In 2008 handler Margery Good stood in the center ring with the Sealyham Terrier, CH Efbe's Hidalgo At Goodspice.  Today she was standing there with another Sealyham, Valley.  Rounding out the placements were the Wire Fox, the Kerry, & the Airedale.  Valley is the country’s Number One Sealyham all systems with two all breed BIS and 13 Terrier Groups this year.  We say Brava! & congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Margery Good, co-breeder Frances Bergeron, and owner Sandra Middlebrooks.
