ALAMOGORDO DAYS 2,3, & 4

GCH CH Oakley’s B’Dazzled

They wrapped up the four day stop in Alamogordo NM yesterday with the day two show of the Mesilla Valley Kennel Club.  You will recall that we gave you a report on Friday’s Chaparral Kennel Club day one show earlier.

Saturday the CKC followed up with Suzanne Dillin’s final including the English Setter, GCH CH Oakley’s B’Dazzled, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, the Boxer, GCH CH R and G’s Mystical Dancer, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Belgar’s Desert Sand, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Winning Ribbon, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Australian Cattle Dog, GCH CH Carben Copy’s If The Shoe Fits.

It was the elegant English Setter, Dazzle, picking up the big rosette.  Dazzle and handler Bruce Schultz have now collected Five all breed Bests and 28 Sporting Group Firsts to make Dazzle the top winning English Setter this year.

The MVKC took over on Sunday and put Christine Hubbell in the final ring with the above named Bloodhound, Toy Poodle, & Cattle Dog, the Golden Retriever, Scion Hott Pants RN, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood silver Six Pence, the Miniature Bull Terrier, GCH CH Temris Bully For Me, and the Dalmatian, GCH CH Kastle’s Go Speed Racer.

Her choice for BIS was the Mini Bull, Wilson.  Wilson is the Top Winning Miniature Bull Terrier in AKC history with four  Bests In Show and 22 Terrier Group top prizes.

Monday it all came down to Linda Scanlon musing over the English Setter, Dazzle, the Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, the previously mentioned Boxer, Danny, the Colored Bull Terrier, GCH CH Glentom’s You Were Mint for Me, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Miletree Northern Star at Shirmont, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Highwood’s Big Shot, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Melody’s Night Moves at Baywind.

It was the Cavalier with the melting expression, Teddy, taking home the last BIS of the weekend.  Teddy and handler Clint Livinston now have six BIS and 23 Toy Groups to their credit this year. making Teddy the Number One Cavalier all systems.

  1. That Miles cavalier wasn't even entered in New Mexico. Best in Show went to the Northern Star Cavalier handled by Clint Livingston. I think that's the #1 cavalier all systems.
