BACK2BACK BIS FROM THE CLASSES

CH Allure Hightide It’s About Me

Where some have post-Montgomery County depression, we see MKC as the first in a series of marquee shows over the next few months, the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, the Kennel Club of Palm Springs, the Rose City Classic, and, of course the Westminster Kennel Club show, closely followed by the Ketuckiana Classic.  As we peruse the MKC catalog we find it full of upsets and surprises.  The question is: was it just serendipity or a portend of things to come?

While the Terriers were romping in suburban Philadelphia, the rest of the sport was busy elsewhere.  Fanciers at the Augusta Kennel Club’s two shows in that South Carolina town saw a Standard Poodle, from the classes, Allure Hightide It’s About Me, post back2back BIS.  On Saturday judge James Noe chose the two year old bitch over the English Springer Spaniel,  GCH CH Cerise Blindside, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Elmo’s Dreamboy, the RBIS, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Ishana Kerberos Guardian Of The Way, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Waybroke Broxden Christian Dior, the  Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Manor House Right as Rain, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Topsy Turvey.

These are her first two BIS.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Michele Polito &
Ann Galloway, and owner J Carreli.
