We have our first report today from the west coast where the country’s Number Eight Dog All Breeds, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, picked up her 58th career BIS, tying the breed record. Joining Chanel in Nancy Liebes’ final for the Nisqually Kennel Club in Lacey WA were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Rush Hill's Runnin' Amuck At Abelard, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Karnovanda's Tenzing, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine's Highwayman, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Full Of Malarky Aisles Of Miles, the Bulldog, GCH CH Itsa Brix, and the Belgian Tervuren, GCH CH Sky Acres Flying Solo.
The win was Chanel’s 25th top prize of the year and should be good enough to move her up one spot in the standings to challenge for the title of the Number One Hound in the US.
