FEWER SHOWS IN MORE PLACES

Moon Over Austin Texas

We have six fewer all breed shows this week, but two more venues than last week.   That means more people will have a chance to see a dog show this week  than last.  For once West Coast residents will have shows in all the major areas.  In Southern California the place to be will be Perris CA for the Kennel Club of Riverside’s two shows.  In Northern California Herding breed owners will show up a day early for the Northern California Herding Group Association limited breed warm up for the Sacramento Valley Dog Fanciers Association’s Saturday/Sunday events.  Up in the Pacific Northwest the Vancouver Kennel Club will set up for two days in Ridgefield WA.

In the central US exhibitors will have their choice of the standard two in Austin TX with the Travis County Kennel Club, two in Benton AR with the Saline County Kennel Club Of Arkansas, or three shows in Sioux Falls SD with the hometown Sioux Empire Kennel Club.    Great Lakes exhibitors can check in with the Delaware Ohio Kennel Club who will set up for two days in their hometown.

In the East there are shows thirteen shows ranging from the Queensbury Kennel Club’s two in West Springfield MA to the Ponce Kennel Club’s & the Caribe Kennel Club’s four In Bayamon PR.  In between there is the Boca Raton (FL) Dog Club’s Saturday show, the Middleburg Kennel Club’s two shows in Leesburg VA, and the week’s big stop, four in Marietta GA hosted by the Griffin Georgia Kennel Club & the Kennesaw Kennel Club starting today.

So get out to your local show, but if you can’t we will be here, bringing you the results, the rankings, and the real stories behind the dogs.
