PLEASANTON CA FINAL DAY

CH PalaceGarden Malachy

We lived in the Diablo Valley in Northern California for twenty years.  It is one of the most beautifully bucolic places in the US and for the past five days it has hosted some of the most beautiful dogs in the AKC.  Yesterday Theresa Hundt had the special seven that had made it to the final ring of the Del Valle Dog Club of Livermore’s day two show.

They were the Irish Setter, GCH CH Shadagee Caught Red Handed, the Saluki, Shiraz California Dreamin’, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Slfox Sneaks A Peek, the Pekingese, CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Bulldog, CH Walkin’Blues Babalu, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH PaRay’s Cirque Du Soleil.

It was the Peke, Malachy, just in from a four day romp it Atlanta, taking home the BIS.  Did Malachy, the country’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, pick up enough points to catch Number One?  We will have to wait a couple of days for the weekend’s final numbers before we can tell you.
