PBGV GETS TWO IN OREGON

GCH CH Promenade’s Pay It Forward

We last visited Roseburg OR on Friday when we told you that the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH M & M’s Fear The Beard, was judge Carolyn Herbel’s BIS.  Judge Roger Hartinger’s final at Saturday’s Rogue Valley Kennel Club featured the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade’s Pay It Forward, the Wirehaired Dachshund, GCH CH Del Prado’s Bar Code, the Newfoundland, GCH CH Seacrest’s I’m Not What You Think, the Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, Lochlinear Gleanngay Cha Ching, the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Kulana’s Sh-Boom, the Keeshond, GCH CH Summerwind’s Rumor Has It, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Mariel’s Harvest Moon.

Best was the Field Spaniel, Gideon.  Reserve was the Dachshund, Biff.  Gideon is the US’ Number Nine Sporting Dog with 6 BIS and 27 Sporting Groups.

The PBGV, Wilson, was back on Sunday to see BIS judge Terry Carter along with the Golden Retriever, Brookshire’s Croak N Dagger, the Samoyed, GCH CH Snoline ‘N Snowater’s On A Roll, the previously seen Wheaten, the Pekingese, GCH CH Dunkirk Imagine That, the Finnish Spitz, GCH CH DV9K9’s Red Hot Star, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Windcrest Gun Powder And Lead.

Collecting his second big rosette of the stop was Wilson, the PBGV.  Collecting the Reserve award was the Samoyed, Vegas.  Wilson and owner/handler Janice Hayes have collected four BIS and 14 Hound Groups this year.  Three of the four BIS have come this month…nothing like finishing the year with a flourish.
