CH Imp-Cen Diamonds Are Forever
We have dubbed the Mid-Atlantic “Dog Show Central”, by virtue of the number of exhibitors and shows
in the region. This week’s shows were in
Harrisonburg VA with the Shenandoah Valley Kennel Club. Saturday’s final was in the hands of Steven
Gladstone. The seven dogs hoping to gain
his favor were the English Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Dawnglow Knight Rider, the
Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Lacey's Hocus Pocus, the Leonberger, GCH
CH A Feiner Eros, the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket to Ride,
the Long Coat Chihuahua, CH Bayard Yours Truly, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH
Luminary Black Velvet Bejeweled With Pearls, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Imp-Cen Diamonds Are Forever.
GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket to Ride
The two that impressed judge Gladstone were the GSD, Zale,
and the Norfolk, Ryder. It’s the first
BIS for the six year old bitch.
Congratulations to breeders/owners Christina Halliday & Connie
Halliday and Sondra K Meyer-Ortego.
GCH CH A Feiner Eros
On Sunday BIS judge Whitney Coombs would see the same seven,
save one. His Toy Group winner was the
Pug, GCH CH Riversong's Doc Holiday. He
would also give the Norfolk, Ryder, the RBIS, but his BIS was the Leonberger, Odin. Odin has been the country’s Number One
Leonberger for the past two years, but this is his first all breed BIS. Now that's patience. Our congratulations to breeder/owner Lisa
Bazlen and handler Cheryl Cannon.
