GCH CH Ocoee Dsqd With A Vengeance
The Columbia Missouri Kennel Club hosted two shows in their hometown this weekend. The seven dogs who lined up for judge Jackie Stacy on Saturday were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Ocoee Dsqd With A Vengeance, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Hundeleben Queens Amada SL, the Boxer, CH Nantess Caleno Numero Uno, the West Highland White Terrier, Devonshire Out Of The Starting Gate, the Toy Poodle, CH RFS Hells A Blazen FRank N.Stein, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Gunther's Gussied Up Edna, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
GCH CH Gunther's Gussied Up Edna
The two she liked were her BIS, the Springer, George, and her RBIS, the Boston Terrier, Edna. Breeder/owner handled by Melanie King, George maintains a relaxed show schedule, venturing out whenever Melanie can get away. Still George has managed to amass seven Best In Specialty wins as well eight Sporting Group top prizes. This is his first all breed Best In Show. Congratulations to Melanie and owners Kathy Lorentzen, BA Breese, and Liz Kiener.
GCH CH McMatt's Autumn Breeze
George and Edna were back on Sunday to see BIS judge Steve Hayden, along with the Whippet, GCH CH Starline's Oxford Victim Of Love, the Portuguese Water Dog, CH Sailaway Root Beer Float, the Parson Russell Terrier, GCH CH Foxbend Colour Me More, the Pug, CH Blueridge’s Night Moves At Kngz, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH McMatt's Autumn Breeze.
Once again Edna would get the runner up ribbon, but the BIS would go to the Aussie, Breezy. Another first timer, it was only Breezy second final appearance this year. Congratulations to breeder/owner Flo McDonald, co-breeder Tina Marie Beck, owners Janet Loehr & Vicki Wehrle, and handler Paul Catterson.
