GCH CH Sandstorm Blue Nile Bubbles of Jatara

With the film Oz The Great and Powerful in theaters this past weekend, we think a dog show in Garden City Kansas was a perfectly timed.  The hometown kennel club offered up three and the Saluki, GCH CH Sandstorm Blue Nile Bubbles of Jatara, took home the first two BIS of the stop.

Friday, Bubbles and handler Erin Roberts were Roger Hartinger’s choice for BIS.  His RBIS was the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Grandgables The Frat Boy.  Rounding out his seven were the German Shorthair Pointer, Ehrenvogel Say Cheese, the Mastiff, GCH CH Jadems Oliver Twist, the Parson Russell Terrier, GCH CH Posey Canyon No Brainer!, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Miletree Northern Star At Shirmont, and the Bichon Frise, CH Mirabella Allure’s Ooh LaLa.

Saturday, Bubbles won the favor of James Ham who also liked the Sheltie, Brother.  Filling out the final were the Irish Setter, GCH CH Antares Bobby Jones, the Akita, GCH CH Stardust's See You At The Show, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Sayo's Jai Ho, the Maltese, CH Rhapsody's Someone Like You, and the Keeshond, CH Showtyme's Happy Feet.

Sunday, Sonny Ambrosio would choose the same top two, though he would prefer the Sheltie, Brother, to the Saluki, Bubbles.  Joining them on the final day in the final ring were the above named GSP, Mastiff, &Maltese, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Tontine's Chance Redemption, and the Lhasa Apso, GCH CH Sundancer Hylan Shotru Secret Dawn.

The two wins brings Bubbles’ 2013 record to three BIS and 14 Hound Groups.  Brother now has four BIS and 13 Herding Groups.
