GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse
This week our Number Two Dog All Breeds, the Portuguese
Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse, surged ahead of the Number
One Dog, in total number of shows won, by collecting four BIS in two different
venues. You can read about the first two
shows here.
The second two came at the Skyline Kennel Club shows in
Fisherville VA. On Saturday judge Mary
Ann Alston liked Matisse better than her Reserve, the Bearded Collie, GCH CH
Ha’Penny Miramar The Fab Fawn, who she liked better than the English Springer
Spaniel, GCH CH Birchwood's Tropical Night Fever CGC RA, the Smooth Dachshund,
GCH CH TurningPt Cass Edge, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH An Garda
Deja Vu Looking At You, the Pekingese, GCH CH Yakee Easily Persuaded, and the
Lowchen, GCH CH Paceaway Play It Again.
GCH CH Yakee Easily Persuaded
Sunday Mattise would be Debra Thorton’s choice over her
RBIS, the previously seen Peke, Rodger, the Weimaraner, GCH CH Unity’s Bzyfeet
Laverne DeFazio, the Ibizan Hound, CH Serandida Abbaio La Contessa Scalza, the
Scottish Terrier, CH Invercrest Surely Why Not, and the above named Lowchen
& Beardie.
Mattise now has 32 BIS in 2013, more than any other
dog. However, He still trails the Number
One Dog by a substantial 13,000 points.
The good news, at least for the Portie, is he leads the Number Three Dog
by5000 points.
