GCH CH Trystyn Statesman Cactus Blue
Mid-Atlantic fanciers were in Fletcher NC this weekend for
the Ashville Kennel Club’s two shows.
Saturday ended with Joan Scott mulling over the Welsh Springer Spaniel,
GCH CH Trystyn Statesman Cactus Blue, the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s
Pandora’s Box, the Boxer, Silverlane's Take No-Prisoners, the Welsh Terrier,
GCH CH Shaireab Bayleigh Maid of Honor, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Orchard
Hill Only Human, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Glenleigh Gang's 'N Roses, and the
German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Karizma’s Ike of Edale.

Finishing one/two were the Springer, Maddux, and the Welsh
Terrier, Jennie. Maddux’ first BIS will make him the Number One
Welsh Springer Spaniel all systems, and the only of his breed to win a BIS this
year. Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler
Meghen Riese-Bassel , breeder/owner Sandra Holmes, co-breeder Charles Bassel,
and owner Susan Doss.

Charlotte Patterson had the closer Sunday and her choice of
the same Springer, Foxhound, Welsh Terrier, & Bichon, the Siberian Husky,
GCH CH Huskavarna's King Of The Winter Sky, the Pug, Warpug Black and Blue Reme,
and the Australian Shepherd, Brookridge Pop Rocks. She would like the Welsh Terrier, Jennie, as
her Best, and the Foxhound, Jewel, as her Reserve, It’s the fourth BIS and 25th
Terrier Group One for Jennie, now the country’s Number Three Terrier.
