INLAND EMPIRE KENNEL ASSOCIATION

GCH CH Alpenspirit Who’s On First

We know Idaho is renown as place to get away from it all, but does that mean we have to wait for several days to get dog show results?  Apparently so, as we just got the results from this past weekend’s Inland Empire Kennel Association shows in Coeur D'Alene.

On Saturday James Frederiksen gathered the seven survivors, the Pointer, CH Coralwood Wynot Step Up to the Plate, the Redbone Coonhound, GCH CH Eskai’s Sir Kasper, the Bernese Mountain Dog, GCH CH Alpenspirit Who’s On First, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine’s Highwayman, the Pekingese, GCH CH Windemere's Dusting Of White At Pevyne, the Bulldog, GCH CH Itsa Brix, and the Rough Collie, CH Highcroft Hush Hush.

Day one went to the Bernese, Abbot.   It’s the first this year for Abbot.  Congratulations to breeder Mylene Turbide and owners Anne & Greg Summers.

GCH CH Alpine’s Highwayman

All of Saturday’s finalists, save one, were back on Sunday to charm Judith Daniels, with the Greyhound, GCH CH Helios Foxglove Atheart, being the lone newcomer.  The one who impressed her was the AmStaff Jelly.  Jelly has been to the final ring 23 times this year and has collected four big rosettes, three of which have come this month.  We think Jelly will be collecting a few more before the year is up.

We have not forsaken those of you looking for this past week's results from Duluth MN. We hope to have a report for you soon.
