CATCHING UP IN SAN ANTONIO

Before we get on to today’s results let’s catch you up on what’s been happening in San Antonio TX where several of our top ranked dogs are gathered.

GCH CH Tamarin Top Banana

On Friday at the Comal County Kennel Club’s day one show, Kathleen Grosso had her pick of the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Greyhound, GCH CH GrandCru Clos Erasmus, the Rottweiler, GCH CH  Chancellor High Flyin' Gladiator, the Parson Russell Terrier, CH Telltale Redrock Joint Adventure, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Tamarin Top Banana, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and  the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Rumpus Bumpus.

Her BIS was the Affenpinscher, Topper.  We are pleased to see Texas fanciers get a chance to see this great little dog win his seventh big rosette of the year.  This win should put him in the Top Twenty Dogs All Breeds.

GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore

Saturday was the second day for the Bexar County Kennel Club and only two of Friday’s finalists, the Cocker, Beckham, & the Poodle, Ally, would make it back to Jon Cole’s final.  They would be joined by the Basenji, GCH CH Signet Meisterhaus Gossip Girl, the Mastiff, GCH CH Jadems Oliver Twist, the Lakeland Terrier, Delzar Lucania's Bippity Boppity Boo, the Papillon, GCH CH Copella's Rising Attraction, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Quiche’s Grand Finale.

It was the Number Two Dog All Breeds, the white Standard Poodle, Ally, with her 28th all breed Best this year, more than any other dog.  Ally & handler Tim Brazier have cut the Number One Dog’s lead in half in the last few weeks.  We are going to have another great finish to the show season.
