GCH CH Valioso Von Alpensee
Our last show of the weekend, yesterday’s Twin Brooks Kennel Club show in Morrristown NJ, turned out to be a historic one as Cathy Daugherty awarded the first BIS to a Leonberger, GCH CH Valioso Von Alpensee.
On hand to witness were the English Setter, GCH CH Sleepy Holoow's Scarlett O’Hara, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Lomondview Clementina, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, from the Six to Nine Month Old Puppy Dog class, the French Bulldog, Foxmoor Petite Cherie Tresor, and the Bearded Collie, Aberdeen Walkin' The Wild Side.
The Leonberger has been eligible for all breed competition since June 30, 2010. Dozer, who just turned two last month, is the Number One Leonberger in the US. Congratulations to breeder/owner Alida Greendyk, owners Aleida Rios & Alan Lawson, and handler Arthur Favors.

Just the other day, I was saying that it wouldn't be much longer until he won his first BIS! :)
