MINNESOTA, AT LAST!

GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Windfall

We had to wait a week for them, but we now have results from the Duluth Kennel Club’s four shows last week in their Minnesota hometown.

Day one’s final included the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Buck Stops Here JH, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Windfall, the Samoyed, GCH CH Elfenbein Sun Dancer, the Welsh Terrier, CH Abbeyrose Jersey Boy, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Bulldog, GCH CH Evergreen’s Miss Congeniality, and the Belgian Tervuren, CH Stonewall’s Hust One Shot.

Houston Clark’s BIS was the Bloodhound, Credo.  It was the second this year for the five year old dog.

Friday, Credo & the above named GWP & Pekingese were back to see Toddie Clark with the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Rogel’s My Delsin B of Nighttime RN, the Skey Terrier, CH Highlander Stuart Royalist, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder.  She chose the eight year old Bernese from the Veteran class.  We don’t know if it is his first BIS, but we do know it is he first BIS this year.  Congratulations to breeders Elizabeth Pearson & John Dreaney and owner/handler Anne Nichols.

GCH CH Elfenbein Sun Dancer

Saturday, Don Rogers entertained the previously mentioned GWP, Bloodhound, Samoyed, Welsh Terrier, & Pekingese, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Hispot’s Cause for Applause, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Dalarno Nite Song at Morningstar, before choosing the Sammie, Dancer.  Congratulations to breeder/owners James & Elvira Shea and owners  Bob & Diane Hosker on Dancer’s first all breed BIS.

GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy

Virginia Lyne closed out the set on Sunday with the aforementioned GWP, Bernese, Welsh Terrier, Pekingese, Dalmatian, & OES, and the 15” Beagle, CH Dyno-Mite Sharp Dressed Man.   Her Best was the country’s Number Three Dog All Breeds, the Peke, Malachy.  Malachi & owner/handler David Fitzpatrick are close on the heels of the Top Two with his 29th BIS of the year.
