THREE DAYS IN ILLINOIS

GCH CH Dawin Avion Wouldn't You Know

Our next stop is Belvidere IL where the Blackhawk Kennel Club & the Kishwaukee Kennel Club teamed up for three shows.  The BKC kicked it off on Friday, winding up with Joy Brewster mulling over the English Setter, GCH CH Stargazer'n Windfield Wait Wait Don't Tell, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Mahali Arriva Sandpiper, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Precious Gems Clark Kent, the Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Glaurieus Top Super Mod Elle, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Char's Secret Obsession, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Avion Wouldn't You Know, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Limerick's Shakespeare.

Her Best was the Poodle, Woody.  Woody and handler Sarah Riedl picked up their first BIS back in May.  At just two years old, we expect Woody will be making more and more frequent visits to the BIS ring in the near future.

GCH CH Meadowlake Simply Sinful

Saturday the KKC hosted their day one show and Woody would be back for a second shot at a BISalong with the aforementioned Afghan & Rottweiler, the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Dinges Irish Creme At Wynnsong, the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlake Simply Sinful, the Shih Tzu, Ryan's Reese's Pieces, and the Belgian Sheepdog, GCH CH Uri De Beauvoir.

Sam Houston McDonald would choose the Border Terrier, Maya, as his Best.  Maya has come on strong this summer collecting five BIS in the last two months.

GCH CH Cerise Tender Is The Night

Lowell Davis finished the set for the KKC choosing his Best In Show from the earlier finalists, the Afghan, the Rott, the Border Terrier, the Standard Poodle, & the Bouvier,  the  English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Tender Is The Night, and the Papillon, GCH CH Wingssong Rock Star.  The Springer, Zelda, made the most of her first final of the weekend, picking up her sixth big rosette of 2011.
