One place we didn’t get to visit this weekend was the wild, wild west town of Carson City NV. The hometown Bonanza Kennel Club Of Carson City put on two shows this weekend. The first, on Saturday, featured Lawrance Stanbridge judging a final seven of the Brittany, GCH CH Gourley's DFL 99 Carat Diamond, the Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Soletrader Donald Duck, the Saint Bernard, CH Tinkerbell’s Solid Gold, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Slyfox Sneaks A Peek, the Pomeranian, CH Powerpom High Performance, the Chinese Shar-Pei, CH Margem’s Bogart Here’s Looking At You, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH PaRay Cirque Du Soliel. Best went to the Pom, Calvin. We have that as his fourth.

Sunday closed with Dr Lee Anthon Reasin pondering a final seven of the previously mentioned PBGV, Smooth Fox, Pom, Shar-Pei, & Sheltie, the German Shorthaired Pointer, CH Robin Crest Great Expectations, and the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Goarrhein Chateau Palos Shiraz RN TD PT. He chose the elegant Sheltie, Cirque. Cirque and breeder/owner/handler Tray Pittman have been turning up the volume lately winning three all breed BIS in the last three weeks, bringing their yearly total to seven.
I think this win tied Cirque with Ch. Banchory Thousands Cheered as the top winning bitch in the history of the breed!
