After the glitz and glamour of Westminster, our dog show faithful are back in the trenches. Many of the top dogs found their way to Lakeland FL where the Sara Bay Kennel Club asked Christine E. Pollender-Calcinari to open the four day set.

Her seven were the Irish Setter, CH Shadagee Caught Red Handed, the Harrier, CH Jackpot Kingsbury Beamer, the Samoyed, CH Mystiwind’s Hidden Treasure, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Dalriada’s Mystic, the Silky Terrier, CH Lamplighter’s Bingo, the Bichon Frise, CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Shoal Creek’s Sangria V Barick.

It was the country’s number two dog all breeds, the Irish Setter, Emily, getting the first post Westminster Best. We expect we will see lots of movement in the rankings by the end of this weekend.
