QUALITY NOT QUANTITY

The Greenville Mississippi Kennel Club proved one of our favorite axioms this weekend, the smallest of AKC shows will showcase some beautiful AKC dogs. Down on the delta the club’s two shows this past weekend drew 201 dogs on Saturday and 188 dogs on Sunday.

CH Cordmaker’s Field Of Dream

You may remember that we told you that Roger Hartinger BIS Saturday was last year’s number three dog all breeds, the Puli, CH Cordmaker’s Field Of Dream. Also in that final were the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Whippet, Wildbriar Whimsical Of Longlesson, the Boxer, CH Pro’s For Better or For Worse, the Colored Bull Terrier, CH Glentom’s You Were Mint For Me, the Pomeranian, CH Pufpride Somewhere In Time, and the Chinese Shar-Pei, CH Chaoyang Chick Magnet At Asia.

CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction

Sunday, Jacqueline Stacy saw the same Cocker, Boxer, Pom, & Shar-Pei, the Greyhound, CH Gai Woodland Waltz, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Mustang Sally’s Dream Boy, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Tamara’s Elko Ike. Her BIS was our current number seven dog all breeds, the Black Cocker, Beckham. This was Beckham’s third BIS this year.

So, don’t skip your local show just because you think there won’t be much to see. You may m iss your chance to see one of the great dogs we have in AKC.
