DES MOINES IA RESULTS

CH Skyscot's Poker Chip

The Central Iowa Kennel Club hosted a pair of shows this weekend in Des Moines IA. Saturday’s BIS was called by James Noe. His options were the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH EXL’s Leather N Lace, the American Foxhound, CH Kiarry’s Foolish Pride, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Jenda's Hail The Queen, the Norwich Terrier, CH Skyscot's Poker Chip, the Affenpinscher, CH Induna Oliver Twist, the Standard Poodle, CH Kaylen's In A Perfect World, and the Rough Collie, CH Rosepoint High Tide.

His Best In Show was 2009’s number one Norwich, Pokey. Pokey ended last year with ten all breed BIS & 37 Terrier Group Ones. Congratulations to breeder Leslie Becker, owner Caroline Dodwell , and handler Brenda Lee Combs.

CH Kiarry’s Foolish Pride

Sunday, the club asked Dr Robert D Smith to give them a Best In Show. He chose from the same Cocker, Foxhound, & Norfolk, the Siberian Husky, CH Kontoki's Return To Innocence, the Maltese, CH Ta-Jon's Just Bee-Ing Silly, the Keeshond, CH Baronwood Infinity & Beyond, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Clemwood's Nobel Laureate. His Best was the Foxhound, JoJo. JoJo had one all breed Best in 2009 and 18 Hound Group top awards. Congratulations to breeders Leslie Millman, Donna Millman, Faith C Millman, & Diane Shearer, owners Beverly Wyckoff & Harry & Lisa Miller, and handler Scott Kipp.
