BLACK AND WHITE

We often caution more casual dog show followers that dog shows are among the most unpredictable of competitions and we have frequently observed that every Best In Show is a big deal. Therefore, experienced show observers will be only mildly surprised that the Giant Schnauzer, CH Galilee's Pure Of Spirit, did not win BIS today. Yes, she had won eight in a row, but today the big black bitch was bested by a small white dog, a West Highland Terrier, CH Arbroath’s Rosewood Rise ‘N’ Shine.

CH Quasar’s & Sherwood’s odd Couple

Also standing for Judge Elaine Mathis were the the ASCOB Cocker Spaniel, CH Quasar’s & Sherwood’s odd Couple, CH Leoralees Somthing 2 Talk About, Longhaired Dachshund, the Pug, CH O-Day Mystical Klondike, the Bichon Frise, CH Paray’s Rime Time, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Coventry Vanity Fair. It was the first BIS for the four year old male. We tip our hat to breeders, Dee Donaldson, Bill Weber, Randy Weckman & April Geiseking, owners, John Low MD & William Matthews III MD, and handler, Gabriel Rangel.
