The Penn Ridge Kennel Club kicked off the big weekend in
Harrisburg PA. Judge Beth Sweigert had
the opening final and her pick of the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Mario N
Beechwood’s Midnight Express, the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s
Box, the Akita, GCH CH CR-Wicca’s Trade Secret, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH
Jokerlands Glacyia, the Pekingese, GCH CH Yakee’s Easily Persuaded, the Chow
Chow, GCH CH Padow’s Twilight Embrey in a New Moon at Asans, and the German
Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Karizma’s Ike of Edale.

Her Best was the Peke, Rodger, and her Reserve was the
Foxhound, Jewel. After a late start this
year, Rodger has steadily climbed the rankings.
Rodger is the country’s Number One Pekingese, and Number Four Toy Dog
with ten BIS and 40 Toy Groups. We would
not be surprised if Rodger finished the weekend as the Number Two Toy Dog.
