Before we get any further into this past weekend’s reports,
let’s catch you up on what we missed the previous weekend. Here in the Memphis suburb of Southaven MS,
just down the street from Graceland, the Greater Shelby Kennel Club spent the
weekend. On Saturday judge Bart Miller considered the Nova Scotia
Duck Tolling Retriever, GCH CH Pikkinokka's Lightning Bug, the Afghan Hound, GCH
CH Jakar An Affair Most Wicked, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH O's Godiva Dark
Demitasse, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Irisblu Mirage, the Toy Fox Terrier, Centennial
Farms Iron Man, the Bulldog, GCH CH Schear Royalty British Pound Sterling, and
the Australian Shepherd, CH Broadway's Cruisin' Like Royalty of Canyon Lake RN.

His top two were the Afghan Hound, Wicked, and the Kerry
Blue, Suki. It was the first all breed
Best for Wicked and handler Lenny Brown.
Congratulations to Lenny, breeders/owners Amy Donnell & Tara Schultz
& Melonie Tokarski and owner Beverly Warren.
Suki and the above named Toller were the only of Saturday’s
finalists to return on Sunday to try their luck in Stephen Hubbell’s
final. Joining them were the Irish
Wolfhound, CH Mistery Iz Volshebnogo Lesa, the Boxer, GCH CH Ho-Pa’s Grand
Slam, the Maltese, GCH CH Divine's Work Of Art, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Hilsman's
Livia Of Lwolfranch, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Wolf Creek Galaxy of
Merivern.

It was lovelier the second time around for Suki as she
walked away with the BIS while the Boxer, Slam, took the RBIS. It was also Suki’s first BIS. Congratulations to breeders Harold Quigg,
owners John & Kathy Garahan, and handler Klayton A Harris.
