Centre Hall PA was the site of the Nita Nee Kennel Club’s
two shows this weekend. Judge Donnelle
Richards had the day one final and her pick of the English Setter, CH Weymouth’s
En Fuego, the Borzoi, CH Legende’s Patrician Ibaby Infinite Dreams JC, the
Boxer, GCH CH Hi-Tech The King Of Sherry Shoot Jp, the Scottish Terrier, CH Invercrest Surely Why Not, the Affenpinscher, CH Yarrow’s Hi-Tech Ben There Done That, the Chinese Shar-Pei,
GCH CH Shine’s Deck The Halls, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Karizma’s
Ike of Edale.
CH Weymouth’s
En Fuego
Taking the day one top prize was the Boxer, King. The English Setter, Blaze, collected reserve award. King is the country’s Number Two Boxer and Number 11 Working Dog with four BIS and 19 Working Groups.
CH Invercrest Surely Why Not
Sunday King, the previously seen Scottie & Shar-Pei, the
Pointer, GCH CH Chesterhope Miss D’Arcy,
the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Camelot’s Ventura Adventure, the Pomeranian, CH Canton
Jet Li, and the Pyrenean Shepherd, GCH CH La Brise Sun Bear, would plead their
case with judge James Fredericksen. King
would leave the ring with the runner-up’s ribbon.
The Scottie, Sylvie, would scamper away with
the Best In Show rosette. Sylvie is
another great Scottie from breeders/owners John & Daphne Eggert, handled by
Ernesto Lara. We will keep an eye on
this one. Congratulations to Team
Sylvie!
I absolutely LOVE the choice of the word "scamper" when referring to the Scottie. It sure creates a 'picture'!
