THE WEEK IN OHIO

GCH CH Doc N’ Camelot’s Heaven Can Wait

Hamilton OH was one of sites hosting a four show cluster this week.  Read about the Friday’s opener here.  Saturday’s Warren County Kennel Club of Ohio final was judged by Linda Robey.  The seven that she saw were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Doc N’ Camelot’s Heaven Can Wait, the Ibizan Hound, GCH CH Smotare’s Strictly Business, the Great Dane, Longo Miller N Lore Diamond Lil, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Just In Time, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Gaga Lady De Aqlla, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the Briard, GCH CH Deja Vu Mia Cool As A Cucumber.

Yesterday’s Cincinnati Kennel Club final featured Dr James Edwards and the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, the Black & Tan Coonhound, GCH CH Foxfire Full Force Gale, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse, the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket to Ride, the Toy Manchester Terrier, Fwaggles Avant Garde, the previously seen Standard Poodle, London, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Live the Dream.

He chose the Poodle, London, as his BIS and the Norfolk, Rider, as his RBIS.  London had a Top Ten ranking in 2011 & 2112.  He is the Top Twenty this year with nine BIS.  This one will put him within 2000 points of a Top Ten berth.  Top Ten All Breeds three years in a row?  That’s a goal worth shooting for.

Today’s CKC redux ended with now familiar GWP, Oakley, the American Foxhound, CH Tallyho Jade, the same PWD, Matisse, Saturday’s Schnauzer, Justin, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Bells Will Be Ringing, the Bulldog, CH Imperious HamItUp Southern Bell, and the Puli, Cordmaker Topsy Turvey.

Debbie Campbell-Freeman’s Best In Show was last year’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the GWP, Oakley.  Her Reserve was the dog that would like to be this year’s Number One Dog, the Number Two Dog, the PWD, Matisse.  Oakley  has a Number Four ranking this season with 16 BIS and 28 Sporting Groups.
