LANGLEY KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH CR Wicca’s Trade Secret

Most of our show sites this weekend are still active, taking advantage of the Memorial Day holiday to host Monday shows.  One of the few to break camp on Sunday was Hampton VA where the Langley Kennel Club hosted two shows.

Saturday’s opener ended with judge Kent McDermott musing over the multi-titled Brittany, GCH CH Brookewood's Just Too Hot CDX MX MXB MXJ MJB XF, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Monkham’s Famous Grouse, the Akita, GCH CH CR Wicca’s Trade Secret, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Lil'Itch Steeplechase, the Havanese, CH Ji Jo's And Shatara's High Voltage, the French Bulldog, Diva's Bastille My Heart, and the Belgian Sheepdog, GCH CH Morningstar's All That Jazz Ma'am.

Setting the bar on Saturday was the Akita, Trader, who took the BIS.  Collecting the RBIS was the Havanese, Angus.  It’s Trader’s first BIS of 2012 in six final appearances.  Congratulations to breeders Joann Charnik & Carla Burke, owners Thomas Bavaria & Ann Bavaria, and handler Heather Bremmer.

GCH CH Tells Matrix Reloaded

Trader and Heather would be back on Sunday for a second try with judge Laurie King Telfair,  Joining them were the same Brittany, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Tells Matrix Reloaded, the above named Smooth Fox, a different Havanese, CH RisinStarRainbowsEnd, the Bulldog, CH Kepley's My Way of the Highway, and the Briard, CH Sendero's Femme Fatale.

Her Best was the Afghan, Matrix, and her Reserve was the Bulldog, Flash.  Matrix now has four BIS and 26 Hound Groups, good enough to make him the Number Three Hound and put him in a virtual tie for the Number 12 Dog All Breeds.
