GCH CH CR Wicca’s Trade Secret
Most of our show sites this weekend are still active, taking
advantage of the Memorial Day holiday to host Monday shows. One of the few to break camp on Sunday was
Hampton VA where the Langley Kennel Club hosted two shows.

Saturday’s opener ended with judge Kent McDermott musing
over the multi-titled Brittany, GCH CH Brookewood's Just Too Hot CDX MX MXB MXJ
MJB XF, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Monkham’s Famous Grouse, the
Akita, GCH CH CR Wicca’s Trade Secret, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Lil'Itch
Steeplechase, the Havanese, CH Ji Jo's And Shatara's High Voltage, the French
Bulldog, Diva's Bastille My Heart, and the Belgian Sheepdog, GCH CH Morningstar's
All That Jazz Ma'am.
Setting the bar on Saturday was the Akita, Trader, who took
the BIS. Collecting the RBIS was the
Havanese, Angus. It’s Trader’s first BIS
of 2012 in six final appearances.
Congratulations to breeders Joann Charnik & Carla Burke, owners
Thomas Bavaria & Ann Bavaria, and handler Heather Bremmer.
GCH CH Tells Matrix Reloaded
Trader and Heather would be back on Sunday for a second try
with judge Laurie King Telfair, Joining
them were the same Brittany, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Tells Matrix Reloaded,
the above named Smooth Fox, a different Havanese, CH RisinStarRainbowsEnd, the
Bulldog, CH Kepley's My Way of the Highway, and the Briard, CH Sendero's Femme
Fatale.
Her Best was the Afghan, Matrix, and her Reserve was the
Bulldog, Flash. Matrix now has four BIS
and 26 Hound Groups, good enough to make him the Number Three Hound and put him
in a virtual tie for the Number 12 Dog All Breeds.
