CH Morningstar’s Dances With Wolves
This weekend’s results are trickling in and our Monday Morning Mop Up will be a bit choppy as we bounce around to the sites for which we have reports.
First up today is the Windward Hawaiian Dog Fanciers Association’s two shows in Kaneohe HI. Kathleen Gross had the first shot at selecting a BIS. Her options were the English Springer Spaniel, CH Siobhan’s Solstice, the Basenji, Teazer Kazor Ekundayo for Johari, the Doberman Pinscher, Ali’I Canefire’s Perfect Tempo, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Slievecroob Micolene, the Toy fox Terrier, GCH CH Xeralane’s Playboy, the Shiba Inu, CH Morningstar’s Dances With Wolves, and the German Shpeherd Dog, Karizma’s Bonair Von Loar Kaylee.
Her choice was the Shiba Inu, Dance. It was the first BIS for the three year old. Congratulations to breeder/owner Joan Morningstar, co-breeder Vicki Appleton, and owner Henry Kapali.
Dance was the only of Saturday’s finalists returning on Sunday to see judge Gloria Geringer. Joining him were the Vizsla, CH Relwood’s MGM Grand, the Basenji, CH Teazer Signet Bad Romance, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Fantasy Island’s Inspiration, the Smooth Fox Terrier, Rama Rafferty’s Rules, the Papillon, GCH CH Okekai The Mighty Quinn, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Winterset Hy-Verta A Crowd Roars.
Taking home the big rosette was the Vizsla, Cooper. It’s Cooper’s second of the year.

That's the third shiba this year to get a BIS, the first time I can remember that more than 2 got a BIS in one year and that was over 10 years ago!
