BLOODHOUNDS & GOLDENS

We beg the indulgence of those people who have sent us in results from their National Specialties.  We have been trying to shoe horn in the specialty reports with the all breed results we report.  We try to be fair & balanced here at DSP (before your assume anything, we do Watch CNN as well as Fox News) and like to have the Best of Opposite Sex, Winners, Dog, Winners Bitch, & Best of winners identified, in attention to the BISS,  before we go to press.   We are pretty good at doing research, but all that information can be hard to come by.  That being said here are some of the reports we have completed.

The American Bloodhound Club was in Clarkston WA this past week to crown their 2011 National Specialty winner.  Dr John Shelton’s BISS was GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell.  Other major awards were the Best of Opposite Sex, from the Veteran Class, CH Churchill's Treasured Moon, Winners Dog, Flessner's Ya Gotta Believe, and Winners Bitch/Bet of Winners, Flessner's I believe at Gumshoe.  Kissy, America’s Number One Blood Hound all systems, has collected four all breed BIS this year and 28 Hound Groups.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Susan Lacroix & Heather Whitcomb and handler Bruce F Schultz.

CH Scion Hott Pants

Almost 600 Golden Retrievers descended upon Conyers GA this past week for the Golden Retriever Club of America 2011 National Specialty.  Barbara Pepper had the intersex duty and she chose CH Scion Hott Pants as her BISS. BOS was GCH CH Rush Hill’s Run’N Amuck At Abelard, WD was Castlerock Left It Be, WB/BW was Questan’N Hicontrry’s Fly’r And Ice.  BOB “Groovy” is still shy of her third birthday and has a lot of winning yet to do.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Kathy Whipple & Pat Simpson and handler Clint Livingston.
