We have some additional National Specialty results for you.  First we have the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association’s 2011 National Specialty  a week ago in Warwick RI.  Gene Liepmann chose the Best of over 300 Springers entered and his BISS was the country’s Number One English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova.  Among the other award winners was the Best of Opposite Sex, GCH CH Keepsake N Sunlaine Special Blend, WD/BW/BBBE, Rendition Royale , & WB Cerise Dixieland Dutchess.

Peyton and handler Robin Novack followed the BISS performance with an all breed BIS at Sunday’s Greater Murfreesboro (TN) Kennel Club show, bringing their 2011 total to 13 BIS and 42 Sporting Group Firsts.  Congratulations to Robin, breeders Billie, Erin, & Charlie Kerfoot & Ruth Kirby, and owners Celie Florence, Beth Fink,  Erin Kerfoot, PhD, Ken Goodhue-McWilliams, PhD, & Delores Streng.

CH Odysea's Card Shark

That same week the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America was holding their National Specialty in Pine Mountain GA.  Nancy Liebes had the difficult task of choosing a BOB from the 338 dogs competing.  Her BISS, CH Odysea's Card Shark, came from the 7-9 Veteran class.  Her BOS was GCH CH Aviator's Asta Primadonna, her WD was Deblon's Rising Star to Pattedeau, and her WB. BW/BBBE was Zohar's Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed.  Our congratulations to BOB Lefty’s breeder/owner Martha Thomas and handler Colton Johnson.
