On his way home from Jefferson WI, where he picked up three big rosettes, our Number One Dog All Breeds, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse, stopped in West Windsor Township NJ for Monday’s Trenton Kennel Club redux to pick up another.

Matisse was challenged for the win by judge Richard Reynolds’ Reserve Best In Show, the Xoloitzcuintli, GCH CH Bayshore Giorgio Armani. Also hoping for a look were the English Setter, GCH CH Stargaze'R 'N Wingfield Wait Wait Don’t Tell, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Exlysta Aries Ciel Noir, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Crispy Legacy, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Yarrow’s Hi-Tech Ben There Done That, and the Pyrenean Shepherd, CH Danseur De La Foret. The win, Matisse’s 44th of the year, brings the number of dogs defeated to over 53,000, barely one third through the season.

  1. This is the great accomplishment and good trained dogs can win any challenges.
