BASSET HOUND BACK2BACK BIS

GCH CH Topsfield-Sanchu Eenie Meenie Miney Moe

We don’t remember when the last time, if ever, we reported back2back BIS by a Basset Hound. So we are immensely pleased to tell you that GCH CH Topsfield-Sanchu Eenie Meenie Miney Moe took home both of the big rosettes from this weekend’s Olympia Dog Fanciers Association shows in Elma WA.

On Saturday BIS judge Paula Nykiel preferred Tiger to the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Windcrest Gun Powder and Lead, whom she preferred to the Irish Setter, GCH CH Chamberlaynes Mutiny O’ Captiva, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Peace River’s Gather No Moss at Sunstra, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Regency’s Playing for Keeps, the Havanese, GCH CH Peluito's Papi Chulo, and the Lhasa Apso, GCH CH Suntory Leonetti.

GCH CH Chamberlaynes Mutiny O’ Captiva

Sunday Tiger claimed the BIS and returning Irish Setter, Colin, collected the RBIS. Rounding out judge Debbie Campbell-Freeman’s final were the Newfoundland, GCH CH Heartsease King of the Jungle, the same Miniature Schnauzer, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Quail Garden Loch Lomond Déjà vu, the Belgian Tervuren, GCH CH Skye Acres Maximum Altitude. It was Tiger’s first BIS in seven trips to the final ring this year. Congratulations to breeders/owners Claudia Orlandi & Claire Steidel, owner Suzanne Sukey Shor, and handler Michael Stone.
