We love it when we see the off spring of previous seasons’ top dogs doing well in the show ring for it demonstrates the thesis of dog shows, i.e., a showcase for breeding programs. The Scottish Terrier, CH Roundtown Everyday Magic Of Maryscot, daughter of the 2009 Number One Dog All Breeds, CH Roundtown Mercedes Of Maryscot, collected her first ever all breed BIS at Saturday’s Rio Honda Kennel Club show in Pomona CA.
GCH CH Sandpiper’s Let Freedom Ring
Joining her in judge Sue Goldberg’s final were the Reserve winner, the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Sandpiper’s Let Freedom Ring, the Whippet, CH Starline’s Coco Mademoiselle, the Bernese Mountain Dog, GCH Alpenspirit Its Our Game, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Hitimes What The Inferno , the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Yu Kou’s Keep On LuvnU CGC, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony Hills Say Yes To The Dress.
Although this is Magic’s first all-breed Best she had served notice of her intentions early collecting ten Terrier Groups this year including wins at the giant Kennel Club of Palm Springs the all Terrier limited breed shows, the Columbia Terrier Association Of Maryland and in January, and the Terrier Club Of Michigan shows these past two weekends. Our congratulations to breeder/owner Amelia Musser, owners Mary O'Neal & Anstamm Kennel, and handler Gabriel Rangel.
