LAKE MATTHEWS KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Coventry Allure At Wyndstar

Out on the West Coast in the SOCAL bedroom community of Chino, the Lake Matthews Kennel Club gathered the best of the southland for its two shows.  On Saturday BIS judge Faye Strauss saw the Weimaraner, GCH CH Simpatico Equal Justice, the Borzoi, GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor Vintage Glamour, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Topaz Bad Action, the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Hjohoo’s Save Hjour Love For Me, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Hitimes What The Inferno, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Major League Mighty Joe At Winsome, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Allure At Wyndstar.

The two she liked were the Corgi, Allie, and the Borzoi, Glamour.  Allie was 2013’s Number Three Herding Dog with 11 BIS and 50 Herding Groups, but has not been out this year until recently.  Allie had to get by this year’s Number One Herding Dog, the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect, to take her first BIS and first Herding Group of 2014.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Bill Shelton, co-breeders Kerry Kirtley, Steve Leyerly and Beckie Williams, owner Alex Geremia, and handler Jenny Rangel.

However, the OES, Swagger, would be the Herding Group’s representative in judge Robert Schreve’s final on Sunday.  Judge Schreve would also see the same Weimaraner, Cairn, Pom, & Frenchie, and the Pharaoh Hound, GCH DC Mia Bakhu’s Sleeping With The Enemy Of Halllam MC.

Judge Schreve would go with Swagger as his BIS and the Pom, Danny, as his RBIS.  Swagger is the nation’s Number Two Dog All Breeds with 22 BIS and 43 Herding Groups.
