We begin our Monday Morning Mop Up with Sunday’s Rose City Classic closer, the Tualatin Kennel Show,  The Rose City Classic has been the springboard for many a Number One Dog and this year has maintained that tradition.

GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect

Yesterday’s final featured judge Linda More in the final ring with a spectacular seven of the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade’s Pay It Forward, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Thaon’s Wallstreet, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Tiburon’s Arsenal, the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Hjohoo's Save Hjour Love For Me, the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Kulana's Sh-Boom, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Del Zarzoso Salvame From Afterglow, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect.

The Cairn, Lexie, became the first Cairn to win a BIS since July of 2011.  The OES, Swagger, leaves Portland with three BIS and an RBIS.  The Swedish bred Cairn ( the “Hjo” is pronounced “You”) was last year’s Number One Cairn with three Terrier Group Ones.  Lexie and handler Gabriel Rangel have already collected four Group Ones and an RBIS this year in addition to yesterday’s BIS.  Congratulations to Gabriel, breeder/owner Elisabeth Theodorsson, and owner Victor Malzoni Jr.
