Judge Carlos Navarro closed the ten show Florida Marathon today, calling the final for the Pasco Florida Kennel Club.  The seven dogs that were the last to leave the Brooksville FL show grounds were the Brittany, GCH CH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome, the Otterhound, GCH CH Aberdeen’s Under the Influence, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Cragsmoor Good Time Charlie, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Shine’s Deck the Halls, and the Border, Collie, GCH CH Tang Dynasty Rocky.

The last two to leave the ring were the PWD, Matisse, and the MinPin, Classie.  It was the third of the stop for Matisse and his ninth BIS of the year.  Nonetheless, he will leave Florida as the Number Two Dog All Breeds, some 1000 point behind the game leader, the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect.  It’s gonna be an interesting February.
