Coming in from the Heartland is a report on the Kennel Club Of Columbus, Indiana’s two shows which were actually held in Edinburgh IN, 33 miles south of Indianapolis.  As we have told you many times before, get out to your local shows.  You never know who is going to stop by.  For Hoosiers the dog to see was the country’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse.  Matisse would leave Indiana with both of the KCCI’s big rosettes in his tack box.

GCH CH Qbin's Strictly Confidential At Enginuity

The six other dogs who stayed all day Saturday to see BIS judge Joe Gregory were the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, GCH CH Chesastar Hudson Bay RN, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH Raquel Welch Of Malabo APD, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH True Blue Madonna, the RBIS, the Havanese, GCH CH Qbin's Strictly Confidential At Enginuity, the Keeshond, GCH CH Ruttkay Chance, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Lambluv’s Street of Dreams RN.

GCH CH Foxwood's Dublin Diva

Matisse would be Wanda Spediacci’s Best on Sunday.  Her Reserve was the English Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Foxwood's Dublin Diva.  Rounding out the final were the above named Ridgeback, Kerry, & Havanese, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Shine’s Deck the Hall, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv’s Live the Dream.  That’s five in a row for Matisse and 63 on the year.
