TWO GREAT LAKES WEEKENDS

Our next reports comes to us from the Great Lakes region,  First we go to West Bend WI where the only Russell Terrier to win an AKC BIS, GCH CH Goldsands Columbus, added two more big rosettes to his collection. 

GCH CH Dejavu I Want'a Talk About Me

At the Kettle Moraine Kennel Club’s day one show on June 29th, Bosse was Ann Bolus’ Best and the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Dejavu I Want'a Talk About Me, was her Reserve.  Judge Bolus’ other options were the Vizsla, GCH CH Jakra's Simply Savvy, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Hundeleben Queen’s Armada SL, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Nightline Viking At Tanglewood, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Gunther's Gussied Up Edna, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Spiritwood's Gandalf The Blue.

Clay Cody had the judge’s book at Sunday’s closer and he chose Bosse for his BIS and the Saluki, GCH CH Aurora’s The Song and Dance Man, as his RBIS.  Hoping for a look were the English Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Dawnglow Knight Rider, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Wyndrifts Steal Your Heart Away, the Brussels Griffon, CH Fist Face A Penny For Your Thoughts, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Folklore Celtic Crossfire Trail, and the Belgian Sheepdog, GCH CH Bonnthy mes Keepn It Real At Devine Hsas.

Bosse is the country’s Number One Russell Terrier, Number Two Terrier, and Number Eight Dog All Breeds with 12 BIS and 47 Terrier Groups.

This past weekend the Great Lakes action was in De Kalb IL where the Greater De Kalb Kennel Club was set up for two days.  Judge Desmond Murphy had the day one final and his pick of the English Setter, GCH CH Aerden's Pretty In Pink JH, the Otterhound, GCH CH Aberdeens Under The Influence, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Jaroe Legend Of Irish Spirit, the Miniature Bull terrier, GCH CH Dytona VIP, the Maltese, GCH CH Maltangel Heavenly Vision, the Standard Poodle, Litilann's Showdown, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Allure At Wyndstar.

Taking home the Best In Show was the MiniBull, Simon.  Collecting the Reserve was the Corgi, Allie.  That’s Simon’s fifth BIS this year in 12 final appearances.

Kent Delaney would see the same Doberman, Standard Poodle, & Corgi, the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Summits Emery It's In The Bag, the Whippet, GCH CH Bo-Bett’s Quick Pick, the Border Terrier, CH Meadowlake Pants On Fire, and the Papillon, GCH CH Involo The King Of Pop.

Finishing one/two were the Whippet, Quickie, and the Papillon, Jackson.  It’s the second BIS in six final appearances for Quickie and handler Justin Smithey.
