GCH CH Skansen’s Harvard

We don’t see too many dog shows in New Mexico which is a pity as the land of enchantment is a terrific spot to visit.  The Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Skansen’s Harvard, made the most of the Hobbs New Mexico Kennel Club’s two shows in their hometown this weekend, posting back2back BIS.

CH Tang Dynasty Rocky

The day one final featured Harvard, the Labrador Retriever, Briarwood’s Whisky on the Rock, the Basenji, GCH CH Ahmar Nahrs Halleujah Makes a Joyful Noise, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Just Kidding v Sole Baye, the Chinese Crested, CH Ghostmar’s Dark Shadows, the French Bulldog, CH Euforia Tarrab, and Dr Donald Gill’s RBIS, the Border Collie, CH Tang Dynasty Rocky.

GCH CH  Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome

On Sunday Barbara Dempsey Alderman preferred Harvard to above named Basenji, Miniature Schnauzer, & Chinese Crested, her RBIS, the Brittany, GCH CH  Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Vaje’s Jethrene Bodine, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony Hills Money Talks.

It’s the first of the year for Harvard and owner/handler Greg Reyna, who finished 2012 with two all breed BIS and nine Working Groups.  Congratulations to Greg, breeder Sylvia Hammarstrom, and owner Judi Boston.

  1. Actually that was a 12-18 month class dog Labrador that won the Sporting group the first day, not a special.
