GCH CH Draco Greets Dassin With Fourbears

We will begin our Monday Morning Mop up in West Springfield MA where the Great Barrington Kennel Club was set up for the weekend.  On Saturday, Chuck Winslow considered the Irish Setter, GCH CH Northwoods First Reign, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Monkham’s Famous Grouse, the Boxer, GCH CH Draco Greets Dassin With Fourbears, the Scottish Terrier, CH Charthill Top Billing, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Burbrook Storm Chaser, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Vogelflight’s “Honor” to Pillowtalk, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Pembury House Loire Valley.

Claiming the top prize was the Boxer, Margarita, while the Bichon, Honor, picked up the Reserve.  It’s the first this year for Margarita and handler Kimberly A Pastella-Calvacca.  Congratulations to Kim, breeder Larry Dossier, and owners Dr & Mrs William Truesdale, Joseph Vergnetti, Jorge Pinzon, & Wendell Sammett.

Sunday’s final fell to James White who saw a whole new seven, the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Whistlestop’s Wind on Fire, the Saluki, GCH CH Bay Watch Babe von Agrani, the Great Pyrenees, GCH CH Pyrless No-Brainer, the Airedale Terrier, GCH CH Joval’s Angel’s Whisper, the Maltese, GCH CH Richelieu's Here Comes Trouble Again, the Schipperke, CH  Beachview´s Ooops I Did It Again, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Townhill Penny Lane.

Finishing one/two were the Saluki and the IWS.  The three year old Saluki bitch had seven final appearances in 2012.  Congratulations to breeder/owner K S Nagraj Setty and handler Lisa Bettis.
